Bhain na paistí an taitneamh as Seachtain na Gaeilge. The children really enjoyed Seachtain na Gaeile! They learned lots of Irish phrases, made hats and flags for the parade, sowed some potatoes, practised their Irish dancing for the ceilí and finished off with a little St Patrick’s Day parade for the parents.

Thanksgiving Turkey
We had a very special visitor today to celebrate Thanksgiving! Thank you to Éabha and Angela for this amazing turkey made out of fruit and vegetables. We learned about how Thanksgiving is celebrated by families in the United States of America. We even got to eat our turkey!
Fighting Words
We went on our first school trip to Fighting Words. We went on the bus. It was great fun! We even went through the Port Tunnel which was so exciting.
We really enjoyed the Fighting Words Workshop. We created a story about Rex and Lana, two dinosaurs. We drew lots of pictures to illustrate our story.
We were so well behaved on our trip. Our teachers are so proud of us!

We dressed up in our costumes. It was fun!
Pumpkin Art
We used orange paint to paint our pumpkins!
Maths Week – Balance
We used lots of different items to see if we could make them balance.
Parachute!
We love playing with the parachute in PE. We can make it go high or low working together. We can go under it and we can use it to bounce the ball!
Maths Week
