The Senior Infants are really enjoying visiting the allotment! They have dug and planted and watered so many plants! They also visited the polytunnel where they have left some seeds and plants to begin to grow.

The Allotment
The Senior Infants have been working on the allotment this week with Anna and Orla. They are doing the Garden Centre as their Aistear theme so this is a great opportunity to use what they are learning in real life. They dug the soil and planted lots of things – flowers, herbs and fruit! They even managed to make a few wriggly friends!
Thank you to Belmayne ETNS for allowing us to use the allotment and to Tara and Anna for all the hard work over the Spring Break digging up all the soil to prepare it for the children!
